Findlay Marina

On a week long trip with the family and on the first lake day, ran into some issues with our boat taking on water. Knowing any marina is probably weeks out, I took a chance and asked if they could take a quick look and to my surprise was told yes. Very quickly the problem was identified inside the engine bay and was back on the water. Techs were great showing me where the leaks were coming from. Highly recommend!!!!

We rented a Party Barge on a slow day, but would have needed it anyway because of the size of our extended family (we've made an annual trip to Shelby... the last 4 years). This review is overdue, as I promised the owner I'd leave it sooner than a year later. She, the owner, was the proverbial greeter when we arrived. Helped us get down to the dock, and if I remember correctly, the owner was super kind and drove my kids down the gravel road to the dock ramp in her F-350. They provided carts to carry all our coolers (food & beverage) & gear from our van on to the dock and to the party barge, which was just the right size with amenities (had a couple grills we could BBQ on) and ladders to allow the kids to swim in the lake. We had a grand ole time and returning the vessel & gassing was easy, as they had their own pumps. While we didn't go this past summer, I would use Findlay again and appreciated their service & willingness to let us get out on the water for a half day, while not breaking the bank.

As a boat owner and slip renter at Lake Shelbyville for over 25 years I have had many experiences with Marinas. Findlay Marina continues to exceed my expectations each and every time. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for repairs, maintenance or slip rental. Hats off to the owners and staff for making our lake and marina a better place. David & Shannon Binder

My wife and I went to lake Shelbyville camping with our grandkids in early July. We had a reservation for a pontoon boat. We asked if we could change our reservation to one day earlier due to predicted bad weather for the day of our reservation. They were glad to help and set it up for that day. My wife and I would like to thank Melanie and her staff for all there help and we will be using there services again. We had a great day.

Best location on the lake! Owners Shawn and Mel have made many improvements since they bought the Marina a few years ago. They definitely have adopted a path of continuous improvement to the facilities. I’m constantly noticing new changes that make the marina more enjoyable! All of the staff are friendly and helpful with anything we need. We intend to be slip renters for many years to come!😎👍👍👍
